I create mixed-media paintings on canvas that serve as a direct visual translation of the ADHD mind. My work explores the hyper-stimulated landscape of neurodivergence, capturing both its overwhelming sensory chaos and its moments of profound, hyper-focused joy. To ground these interior states, I look to the untamed autonomy of wildlife and natural landscapes. Animals often serve as structural anchors for my compositions, mirroring a deep psychological desire for liberation from the rigid constraints of the physical world. My physical process is rapid and unedited. I layer fast-drying acrylics with the raw, granular friction of soft and oil pastels, using urgent, sweeping brushstrokes to match the velocity of my thoughts. This is evident in pieces like Remembrance, where the heavy texture and colliding mediums physically map the weight of memory breaking through cognitive clutter. My paintings offer an intimate window into a spirit that refuses to be filtered or contained.
